Description

The Seoul Viosys CA3535 series UV-C LED is designed for air and water sterilization, fluorescent spectroscopy and chemical and biological analysis. The CUD7GF1B package emits 275nm UV-C photons that penetrate cells and damage the nucleic acid, subsequently leaving them microbiologically inactive or dead. The Viosys package has been reflowed onto a 20mm metal core circuit in either a 1-Up or 3-Up LED configuration.

LED Star MCPCB

We offer this UV-C LED reflowed on your choice of two different metal core printed circuit boards (MCPCB) versions: a single (1-Up: 1 LED) and triple (3-Up: 3 LEDs). The 1- Up is a single UV-C LED reflow soldered to a 20mm hexagonal (LED Star) MCPCB. The MCPCB has four large solder pads for easy solder connections. The 3-Up is three (3) UV-C LEDs reflow soldered in-series to a 20mm hexagonal MCPCB. The 3-Up MCPCB has two solder pads for connections and a center hole for wires or securing the LED star to a heat sink.

Wavelengths

The UV-C LED is available in deep 275nm wavelength. UV-C is DANGEROUS. Use EXTREME CAUTION - Protect eyes and skin from exposure.

This means that in most cases the values need to be tripled for applications with the 3-Up version. For Example, if the forward voltage listed is 2.95V @ 350mA, then the 3-Up version would be 8.85V and the lumen output would be tripled as well.
