Description

The LUXdrive™ DynaSquare is a discrete, constant voltage 12V LED light engine (No CC Driver Required!). The 1” square PCB houses 3 Nichia 757 high performance, mid-power LEDs along with on-board drivers. The on-board driver circuitry makes it possible for the DynaSquare to accept constant voltage DC input from 11-15VDC. The DynaSquare is PWM dimmable, adding to the flexibility of the unit. The board and 757 LEDs can be used with Carclo 3-up Optics.

The DynaSquare runs at about 1.5 Watts and outputs up to 150 Lumens! It's perfect for lamp and luminaire applications and can also be extremely useful in panel and display lighting.

CCT, Colors and Horticulture Options

The DynaSquare LED strip is offered in a full Color temperature (CCT) range from 2700K-6500K. Need color? We have that too: offered in Red, Yellow, Green & Blue.

There are also Horticulture options for small grow applications. The Horticulture DynaSquare utilizes Nichia 757 LEDs with a broad spectrum ideal for growing.

Powering

The LE202 DynaSquare accepts constant voltage from 11-15VDC, typically powered at 12V. At 12VDC the LEDs are receiving 120mA and the DynaSquare runs at 1.52 Watts. See below for the specific Electrical Specifications.

Dimming

The DynaSquare LED light engine works with PWM dimming. This stands for Pulse Width Modulation which is a method of pulsing the current through the LEDs. Find a PWM dimmer that works with your system to control the light output of the DynaSquare!  You may also dim the DynaSquare with any of our 12Vdc constant voltage power-supplies that include dimming, like the Mean Well ODLV, PWM or HLG series.

Board Design

The DynaSquare PCB board has convenient .125" diameter mounting holes, that are .125" from each corner. We recommend 4-40 machine mounting screws and the washers should not exceed .25" in diameter.

The board design makes it possible to connect multiple boards together (as shown below). The solder connections on each of the four sides make for plenty of different wiring setups. Please contact us at LEDSupply before connecting more than 20 DynaSquares together at one time. The LEDs can also be wired in parallel off of the same power supply. Just make sure your power supply has sufficient wattage (1.5 Watts for every DynaSquare).
