The PULSAR XT-E Royal Blue LED Light Engine combines three Cree high-power XT-E Royal Blue emitters on an LEDdynamics thermally optimized 20mm aluminum MCPCB to deliver high radiant-output density from a compact platform. With a 450–465nm wavelength range, PULSAR XT-E Royal Blue is well suited to applications requiring high-intensity blue output, precise wavelength selection and substantial spectral power. Optional HexaTherm™ technology enhances thermal performance, while the Optics Ready™ platform supports multiple beam distributions for straightforward optical integration.

Description
For remote-phosphor applications the Royal-Blue Cree XLamp® XT-E LED offers the industry's tightest wavelength bins and leading brightness. Silicon Carbide SC3 technology makes this 450nm XT-E LED the most efficient and smallest royal-blue LED that Cree has available. The XT-E LED die is inside the popular XP-E packaging, allowing fast and easy replacement of the XP-E.

LED Star MCPCB
We offer two metal core printed circuit board (MCPCB) versions: a single (1-Up: 1 LED) and triple (3-Up: 3 LEDs). The 1-Up is a single XT-E LED reflow soldered to a 20mm hexagonal (LED Star) MCPCB. The MCPCB has four large solder pads for easy solder connections. The 3-Up is three (3) XT-E LEDs reflow soldered in-series to a 20mm hexagonal MCPCB. The 3-Up MCPCB has two solder pads for connections, mounting holes for secondary Carclo optics and a center hole for wires or securing the LED star to a heat sink.

Secondary Optics
Both versions of the XT-E (1-Up & 3-Up) are designed to work with secondary optics from Carclo; Carclo is a leader in molded poly-carbonate lens systems. The 1-Up secondary lens system combines a plastic holder and lens that sits on top of the 1-Up MCPCB, while the 3-Up optic is a one-piece system with three legs that sit down into corresponding holes on the 3-Up MCPCB. These secondary optics focus light into narrow, medium, wide and elliptical patterns. More information is available on optics that mate with the XT-E LED on this page under the Accessories tab above.
