If your LED Project requires specific illumination patterns then please feel free to browse through the following LED Optics. Secondary LED Optics provide a standard LED with collimation for spot, medium, wide and elliptical illumination patterns. The Carclo LED Optics we carry are designed to mount on a standard Star MCPCB board. The legs of the optic holder fit perfectly into the grooves of the star (most be epoxied for a permanent fix). There are two different size of Optics, 20mm and 26mm. The 20mm are the best selling, but if your application allows the 26.5mm optics provide tighter patterns.

Manufactured in lens quality polycarbonate, the Carclo TIR optics have much higher temperature resistance than acrylic optics and carry a UL rating. These one piece optics are tough and impact resistant but precautions should be taken to prevent them from coming in to contact with organic solvents or vapour.
