Description
One Controller for Multiple LED Strip Types
The MiBoxer WL5 is a flexible 5-in-1 smart LED strip controller designed to simplify low-voltage strip lighting projects. Instead of choosing a different controller for every strip type, the WL5 can be configured for single color, CCT/tunable white, RGB, RGBW, or RGB+CCT LED strip lights. This makes it a strong option for installers, contractors, and DIY users who want one controller platform that can support a wide range of LED strip applications.
Smart App, Remote, and Voice Control
After setup through the Tuya Smart app, users can control brightness, color, color temperature, scenes, schedules, countdown timers, music rhythm effects, sleep/wake plans, biorhythm settings, group control, and automation features. The controller also supports third-party voice control through Alexa and Google Home after pairing through the compatible smart home app.
For projects where a physical control is preferred, the WL5 also works with compatible MiBoxer 2.4G RF remotes, sold separately. This gives customers the convenience of app control while still allowing quick everyday control from a handheld or wall-style remote.
Built for Real LED Strip Projects
The WL5 is especially useful for cabinet lighting, cove lighting, accent lighting, display lighting, media rooms, retail displays, signage, and multi-zone strip lighting layouts. With support for DC12V–48V input, 6A per channel, and 15A total output, it can be used with many common constant-voltage LED strip systems when paired with the correct power supply and wiring.
Multi-Zone Synchronization
The 2.4G RF system allows controllers to pass remote-control signals from one controller to another within range. When multiple controllers are linked to the same remote and set to the same dynamic mode, they can synchronize effects across a larger installation. This is helpful for longer runs, separated lighting zones, or rooms where multiple strip sections should respond together
Setup and Installation Notes
The controller output mode is selected using the onboard SET button. The indicator color confirms the active mode: white for single color, yellow for dual white/CCT, red for RGB, green for RGBW, and blue for RGB+CCT. Before powering the system, the controller should be set to the correct output mode and wired to the matching LED strip type.
Use a constant-voltage LED power supply that matches the voltage of the LED strip being installed. Power should be turned off before installation. Avoid mounting the controller near large metal surfaces or strong electromagnetic interference, as this may reduce wireless range.
