The INDUS XP-E2 Color LED Light Engine combines Cree’s proven XP-E2 emitter with an LEDdynamics thermally optimized 20mm aluminum MCPCB to deliver reliable spectral performance across a broad range of color and wavelength options. Choose from multiple direct-color and specialty wavelengths for applications requiring precise color selection, spectral control or color mixing. Optional HexaTherm™ technology enhances thermal performance, while the Optics Ready™ platform supports multiple beam distributions for straightforward optical integration.

Need Some Color?
Now find your Cree XLamp XP-E2 LEDs in a variety of colors. The XP-E2 uses Cree's SC3 (silicon-carbide) technology to boost output over the original XP-E diode. This performance boost makes the XP-E2's color output 88% brighter than alternative high-power color LEDs. Now lighting manufacturers are able to design for a wider range of applications more cost effectively. These XP-E2 color LEDs can be seen in architectural, vehicle and display lighting.
Colors
The XP-E2 color LED is offered here in Red, Red-Orange, PC Amber, True Amber (590nm), Green, Blue and Royal-Blue. Photo Red and Far Red are not available yet in the XP-E2, but we do carry those colors in the original XP-E here.
LED Star MCPCB
We offer the color XP-E2 in two metal core printed circuit board (MCPCB) versions: a single (1-Up) and triple (3-Up). The 1-Up is a single XP-E2 LED reflow soldered to a 20mm hexagonal (LED Star) MCPCB. The MCPCB has four large solder pads for easy solder connections. The 3-Up is three (3) XP-E2 LEDs reflow soldered in-series to a 20mm hexagonal MCPCB. The 3-Up MCPCB has two solder pads for connections, mounting holes for compatible secondary optics and a center hole for wires or securing the LED star to a heat sink.

The Optics Ready™ platform brings together secondary optics from Fusion Optix, Carclo, Khatod and other leading manufacturers. Optic and holder compatibility varies by LED emitter and board configuration. For referencing detailed specifications there are tables and downloadable documentation below. Important Note: Unless noted otherwise the specifications listed are for a single XP-E2 LED. This means that in most cases the values need to be tripled for applications with the 3-Up version. For Example, if the forward voltage listed is 3.15V @ 350mA, then the 3-Up version would be 9.45V.
