UV-A Indoor High Density LED Strip Light — 12V, 5W/ft, IP20

Description

Part of our Professional Series, this high-density 12V UVA LED strip produces near-ultraviolet light in the 395–405nm wavelength range. With 60 LEDs per meter, it provides consistent UV output for blacklight effects, fluorescent displays, decorative lighting, inspection applications, and other indoor projects that require near-UV illumination.

UVA Configuration

395–405nm Near-UV Output

The 395–405nm wavelength range sits at the visible edge of the UVA spectrum, producing a violet appearance while exciting many fluorescent and UV-reactive materials. It is well suited for blacklight effects, fluorescent signage, displays, artwork, entertainment lighting, and other applications where near-UV illumination is desired.

High-Density UV Light

With 60 LEDs per meter, the Professional Series provides closer LED spacing than standard-density strip for a more consistent line of UV output. The higher density is especially useful in displays, coves, channels, backlighting, and applications where more uniform illumination is important.

Lengths & Cutting

Available in 3 ft, 6 ft, 9 ft, 12 ft, and full 16.4 ft (5m) roll lengths. The strip can be cut every 2 inches at the marked copper cut points for custom fitting.

Installation & Connections

Strip sections can be connected by soldering wire between sections or with compatible solderless connectors. The maximum continuous run is 16.4 ft; longer installations should use additional power feeds or be wired in parallel to minimize voltage drop.

Power & Dimming

A 12V DC power supply is required. The strip is PWM dimmable using a compatible 12V dimmer installed between the power supply and LED strip.

UV Use & Eye Protection

This product emits UVA / near-ultraviolet light. Avoid prolonged direct viewing of the LEDs and use appropriate eye and skin protection when exposure conditions warrant it. Do not use this strip for germicidal or UVC applications.
