5mm LED - Red/Green Dual Color 60° Viewing Angle

Description

This 5mm Red & Green Through-Hole LED combines two distinct indicator colors in a single clear-lens package. Designed with a common cathode configuration, it allows designers to independently control each LED color while sharing a common ground connection. This configuration simplifies wiring for microcontrollers, logic circuits, and embedded electronics.

High Visibility Output

The LED delivers strong visual performance with brightness levels reaching 800–1500 mcd for red and 5000–7000 mcd for green at standard operating current. A 60° viewing angle ensures consistent visibility from multiple angles, making it ideal for control panels, equipment indicators, and status displays.

Reliable Electrical Performance

Engineered for stable operation, the LED supports up to 30mA continuous forward current and 100mA pulse current, with forward voltages of 1.8–2.2V (red) and 2.8–3.4V (green). The device also includes robust ESD protection and is designed for wave soldering assembly, making it compatible with automated manufacturing processes.
