Solderless ICRGB connections

Connect silicone-coated strip without soldering

These connectors fit over the silicone coating on LEDSupply’s 10mm Addressable RGB LED Strip, so the coating does not need to be stripped away at the connection. Choose a direct strip-to-strip clip, 6-inch wire leads, or a 6-inch jumper to suit your layout. All three options are solderless.

Strip-to-Strip

EZ-ICRGB-STS

A clip with a strip connection on each side. Join two compatible strip sections directly, without a wire bridge.

Best for: straight strip-to-strip joints.

Strip-to-Wire

EZ-ICRGB-STW

A connector with 6-inch wire leads for connecting a compatible strip section to your project wiring.

Best for: a wired connection to a strip section.

6-Inch Jumper

EZ-ICRGB-JMP

A 6-inch wire jumper with a clip at each end. Join two compatible strip sections across a gap or route the wires around a corner.

Best for: gaps and corner transitions.

Make the connection

Disconnect power and prepare the strip. Cut only at the strip’s designated cut marks. Leave the silicone coating in place.
Plan any heatshrink before assembly. Position appropriately sized tubing so it can be slid over the completed connector.
Align the strip contacts. Open the connector, insert the strip, and match the strip’s power and data markings. For connections between strip sections, follow the strip’s data-direction arrows.
Close the Easy Push-Down clip. Seat the strip correctly and press the clip closed. Check that the connection is secure without pulling on the contact area.
Test, then protect the connection. Verify operation before covering the joint. Disconnect power again before applying heatshrink.

Protect connections where moisture may be present

We recommend heatshrink over the connector to help protect the connection and strip from moisture. The strip’s waterproof rating does not automatically apply to the connector or the completed joint; heatshrink alone does not establish a waterproof rating.

Before ordering, match the connector to the linked 10mm strip and allow space for the housing and heatshrink in your mounting channel. A 10mm width alone does not confirm compatibility with other strips.
