Description

The Mean Well NLDD-H Series is a new line of DC-DC constant current step-down LED drivers designed to replace the popular LDD, LDH, and LDB driver series. With outputs ranging from 350mA to 1400mA, the NLDD-H covers the most in-demand current ratings for compact, high-performance LED lighting systems.

Connection Style Variations

While Mean Well has consolidated its product range by eliminating less popular variants and surface-mount formats, the NLDD-H maintains full compatibility with the pinout of the older LDD series, making it a direct drop-in replacement in most applications.

Performance

These drivers offer wide input voltage support (10–56VDC), PWM dimming capabilities (100–1000Hz), and high efficiency up to 96%, making them ideal for portable lighting, DC bus lighting, 48V track lighting, and more. The minimum output voltage has been increased to 6V, which requires at least 2 LEDs in series, improving thermal performance and driver robustness.

Built in a compact and fully encapsulated case with UL94-V0 flame retardant epoxy, the NLDD-H offers short circuit and over-temperature protection, 3-year warranty coverage, and full certification to global lighting standards.
