Description

The RGB Controller and Power Connection Kit works with our RGB AC Plug-in LED Strip Lights. This RGB controller kit is perfect for when you need to cut your LED Strip into multiple lengths and add additional power connections.

The cord is 1.5 ft. long and connected to a 2-prong output to plug directly into your household receptacle. The RGB control unit and AC/DC converter is held in a box in line with the power cord. The opposite end has a 4-Pin RGB connection for your LED Strip light.

The RGB Controller communicates back with this receiver unit through line-of-site IR. This makes it necessary to keep the 6" infrared sensor somewhere easy to locate so you can easily change the LED Strip color or mode.

Installation:

In order to connect to AC5050 Strips, first make sure you connect the cord so that the power is going in and flowing in the original direction of the strip light. Use the sharp end of the power pins to push into the four connection points on the bare end of the strip. Next, take the end of your power cord, making sure the pins line up and the power cord should attach so that the other ends of the power pin slide into the desired slots. Finish the connection with the shrink tube to ensure the connection doesn't come apart and to protect from dust and moisture. Use the end cap for the opposite end of the strip to finish it off safely.
